The Story Behind the Stones

Every piece I create has a story.

Before there was Ethereal Elements, before I taught myself how to make jewelry, candles, and home décor, there was one simple creation that changed everything—a Healing Crystal Stone Cairn.

That cairn wasn't made to sell.

It was made out of gratitude.

At one of the darkest moments of my life, my father helped save me by getting me into detox. That decision became the beginning of my recovery, my healing, and ultimately, a completely different life. When I was finally finding my footing again, I wanted to create something meaningful to thank him. I stacked each stone with intention, choosing crystals that represented strength, hope, healing, protection, and new beginnings.

That first cairn became much more than a gift.

Friends and family began asking me to make one for them. Soon I was creating personalized cairns with different gemstones, zodiac themes, and intentions. Without realizing it, I had discovered something I loved—creating meaningful pieces that carried a story.

Everything I make today traces back to that very first cairn.

Because I had accumulated gemstone beads while creating cairns, I decided to teach myself jewelry making. No classes. No mentor. No shortcuts. I simply learned through patience, trial and error, and a passion to create. One design led to another. Jewelry inspired candles. Candles inspired home décor. Every new creation became another chapter in the story that started with a single stack of stones.

In 2021, I began this journey as Cairns & Creations by ECW, honoring the piece that started it all. As my creativity grew beyond cairns and expanded into a full collection of handmade creations, I knew it was time for a new chapter. In 2024, I proudly rebranded as Ethereal Elements CT—a name that reflects everything my business has become and everything I continue to create with intention.

Today, every item is still handcrafted by me with the same purpose that inspired that very first cairn: to bring comfort, beauty, healing, positive energy, and meaning into someone's life.
